How to launch an awareness campaign and double
the size of your social media community
The Challenge
- Driving active discussions in the brand’s social media.
- Making Masterpro products’ unique features widely known.
- Increasing sellout in Carrefour Spain.
The Approach
We decided to create an influencer & celebrity-based campaign, where we worked with Foodie-Lifestyle profiles whose micro- and macrocommunities would help us expand our own, generate a lot of buzz and boost sales in Carrefour.
First of all, we set up 5 consecutive prize draws for a full set of products. @Samyspain kicked off, followed by @pepe_rodriguezrey, @carlosmchef3, @ivanmchef8 and @lunamchef8. Users had to follow both @masterprobrand, @carrefoures and the influencer for a chance to win the big prize – a Masterpro full set.
In the week leading to each draw, our influencers cooked with the brand’s products, spoke wonders about their unique features and redirected stories to Carrefour Spain e-commerce portal, while the brand profile joined forces by powering up all existing content and creating additional content from scratch.
As we witnessed how the brand community was expanding on a daily basis, we activated all earned content with microprofiles, 30 shipments of brand products and a 100% stake through posts and stories.
By the end of the month, we had 5 happy big prize winners and a Masterpro social media community almost three times the size.
